In Computers booting is initialization of computerized systems. We make CD/DVD bootable to install different operating systems on PC. For that we need different dedicated CD/DVD’s for particular operating system. But now using this trick you can install any OS without CD/DVD using your USB drive. For that you will need an USB drive and the image file of that particular OS. Follow the simple steps to make Bootable USB.
1) For making drive bootable you need one software named PowerISO
You can download PowerISO from here
For 32 bit version- Click Here
For 64 bit version- Click Here
2) Install PowerISO on your PC and open that application you will see below screenshot
3) Now go to Tools from that application and then click on Create Bootable USB drive see in screenshot
4) Now new windows will open like this
5) In ‘source image file’ give your image file of that OS you want to make bootable from your hard disk and in ‘destination USB drive’ give location of your USB drive.
6) It will ask to overwrite the file click on OK, now it will start making bootable USB drive after completing process you can use it for installing OS.
NOTE – All data present in your USB will be deleted in process of making Bootable USB, so before going to create USB remove data in USB and format it.
